How it all started.
The Full Story
It was my two daughter’s joined birthday party where it all began. I decided I was going to create one over the top party instead of two (my girls are 14 months apart), obviously I did it in the month in between them!
At the time, I was managing an office where I had my staff multitasking between answering calls, cutting felt and gluing paper snowflakes. We were going to throw the best Frozen themed party ever and it would take a village.
With 40 kids RSVP’d, (this was pre covid), I had accomplished the unimaginable. Each child had a custom cape (wait til you see them), a custom necklace with their favorite character and created a scene any 4 and 5 year old would dream about. We had both Elsa and Anna come, snowflakes EVERYWHERE, photographers, a vendor that supplied deep fried oreos, twinkies, corn dogs, the works, (yes we also had adult juice).
Well! I had everything but the actual desserts!! I couldn’t get myself to spend the money on them at the time. They seemed so expensive and I figured, “I can make that.”
Man oh man did I learn how much work came with creating these little edible pieces of art. I had tried a cake pop only one time before, pregnant with my 3rd, I remember it being the most magical thing that I had ever put in my mouth. So soft and flavorful, they literally melted in my mouth, so eating 7 was no mean feat.
I looked up countless tutorials on how to make them myself! I got all the supplies, baked my cake, added my frosting, melted my chocolate and started dipping!
Bahahahahaha it was a mess! I was able to pull them off for the party (hid them in arrangements) and went to my local grocery store for 2 larger sized cupcakes for my two princesses to blow out their candle.
During the party, one of the moms told me that I needed to start blogging. I laughed and shut that down quick, there is no way I would ever!
Fast forward a month, I made cake pops again for my daughter’s actual day! I made them in bright colors, arranged them in a sand bucket with brown sugar as the sand and added a pin wheel. I strutted those cake pops around that school as if it were a Chanel bag!!
I started getting better at them, but to be honest, I never intended to make it a business. I had a family member who could use the income. I thought, I can teach her to make them and she could do this for extra money!
Well in the end, after putting my creations online, there was a huge demand! I started having fun with them, got better, learned more, and it just wasn’t the right fit for her. But for me, I ran!!
After doing the late nights and early mornings for years (with three kids), I decided to pull back a little and share what I have learned.

Dessert Tower Class

One of my favorites!
Ever walk into an event and see something that you just drop your jaw over!? Maybe it is the flowers, maybe it’s the balloons, or that cute charcuterie board with all the fixings. For me, every time I see a completed tower, I have to use both hands to lift mine.

In this class, I teach you how to dip your treats! Cake pops, strawberries, marshmallows and the cutie cherries. I show you what supplies you will need, go over my “secret weapon” and how to design, assemble, price and transport these pieces of art!

I also teach how to attach the roses, donuts and Macarons. So maybe you don’t want a jaw dropping dessert tower, you can still make statement strawberry or macaron tower!
Caramel Apple Basics

Ever wonder how people get that pop of caramel, or that smooth chocolate that doesn’t have the skin of an elephant?

Yeah me too! I could never get them right! Always bubbles, wrinkling chocolate, and then, I would give up! I could not figure out the secrets!

Well, in this class I spill them all!! I teach how to get that soft caramel that is so smooth and delicious (it is an experience eating it, let me just tell you)!

I show you the tricks to the chocolate! Yes, it is game changing! In the basics class, I also show how to design them like s’mores (with the toasted and dramatic marshmallows duh).

I have learned a technique that is beginner friendly! For years, I wouldn’t even attempt to make them because of all the “do not do this” and the “don’t do that.” It was so intimidating!!

Creme Brûlée Cheesecake

With me, you will learn the classic cheesecake recipe with different crust options. The techniques I use to bake them and of course that mind blowing creme brûlée.
